Reggae Artiste Luciano Gifts the World with “I Wish I Was There” Offering

Reggae artiste Luciano has gifted the world with an impressive offering aptly titled, “I Wish I Was There.” The highly spiritual reggae track was executively produced by California- based record label, Big Feet Records and is set to be released on December 12, 2021.

“My creative process is derived through energy and intuition which always lead to great music, thus, there’s a sense of devoutness in my creation process. The aim is to always make music of substance; something that can encourage generations to come,” expressed Luciano.

A first time collaboration with the label, the process was seamless as, after making the connection with the producer Josh Harris, he immediately fell in love with the riddim and got to work on the song, which was completed in just a few days. With the quality of the production, the producer expects great things from the track.

“When I heard the title of the riddim [Jericho Horns] I was inspired to do a little revision on Jericho and that is how I got the inspiration; the melodies and words just kept coming. Many thanks to the great maestro Josh Harris,” Luciano added.

Blended beautifully, the song was brought to life by the likes of Santa Davis on the drums, Dave Carlson on the guitar, Richard “I-Sax” Howse on the Saxophone and Frank Aird on trumpet. Fitzroy Francis of Mightyful13 Records, who recently joined in on a partnership with the label, serves as the Associate Producer, with Tommi Tikkanen and Earle Holder appearing as the Mixing Engineer and Mastering Engineer respectively. Georgia Tann contributes her talent as Art Supervisor and Steve Weinstein as Music Supervisor. The soon to be released accompanying visual was shot by Kevin Campbell.

With an illustrious career dating as far back as the 1990’s, Luciano is an artiste who has experienced the evolution of Jamaican music throughout the years. With the Jamaican culture playing a heavy hand in crafting his sound, mainly Roots Reggae, the artiste has managed to deliver something new and unique to the industry, whilst keeping spiritualty and uplifting messages at the core of his music.
